Fantastic trip with our family. Our guide Diddi made the experience so much more than it would have been on a self guided trip. We learned the history and geology of Iceland as we drove as well as some great stories and anecdotes that tied ..the trip together. Our lodging was taken care of which was a relief. The trip was flexible as we had terrible weather and Diddi customized the trip for the weather conditions. the meal recommendations that were not included were perfect. 7 Day Complete Iceland Tour. This is a combo of the 6 Day Around Iceland Adventure + 1 Day Snaefellsnes Kirkjufell Tour. This tour far exceeded expectations. I loved the sights including countless waterfalls, endless beautiful vistas, chang..ing landscapes, plus the special excursions Myvatn Baths, whale watching, glacier hike. Vjeran our guide was fantastic and gave us many extra stops to maximize our experience, he provided lots of history and local knowledge, and kept us safe on the road through difficult terrain. There was 18 of us from age 21 to 83 and I did not expect to become a pseudo family. Vjeran was the glue that bound that family and I am very grateful for the experience. My wife and I went on the 7 day complete Iceland tour. The small group bus tour was really nice because we made good friends with several people within the group of 18. Our tour guide (Diddi) was extremely experienced and timed out the excu..rsion and meal stops very well. None of the stops felt rushed. We had bad weather (heavy rain and strong wind) for 4 out of 7 days, but that is late summer in Iceland for you. Diddi was able to pivot our itinerary so well where we enjoyed the sun more and did not miss out on anything. I’m glad we picked the guided tour for our trip because I don’t think I could have planned half of the things we saw on this tour. Diddi added his own histories and stories of growing up and his family that made the trip truly special. Read full review
